Exchange 2007 blank SMTP address issue
published to the OAB. The exchange server logs show the following error: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: OAL Generator Event ID: 9325 Date: 11/1/2007 Time: 1:27:24 PM User: N/A Computer: EXCHANGE Description: OALGen will skip user entry 'Bill Bob' in address list '\Global Address List' because the SMTP address '' is invalid. - Default Offline Address Book When I pull up the account in the Exchange Mgmt Console I only see a single SMTP address for the user. Is there a way from the mgmt shell to check users for blank SMTP addresses? Judging by bthe above error, could the problem be something other than a blank SMTP address? Thanks. Offline Address Book: Mystery of The Missing Recipients http://exchangepedia.com/blog/2007/02/offline-address-book-mystery-of-missing.html The Email Address tab in AD did not reflect the primary smtp address of that user, resulting in the issue. |
