Hello,

In my job, I have to put the following information about windows updates
into a spreadsheet each month:

patch code - description - install date

I have to go to microsofts site, look up the code, and copy and paste the
heading of each patch into the spreadsheet for the description.

This takes a very long time.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a script that can gather this information
for me and save it to a spreadshhet file.

Thanks for your help

You can use the TechNet Security RSS feed and write a small parser to
read and save the information to a spreadsheet.
