Hello,
I have the owner of our company set up as every type of administrator
that he can be. When he walks up to a machine and logs in if it is not his
normal machine he cannot view the contents of the network through my network
places/ entire network/ our domain. This also means that if he tries to
install a printer that he will be unable to find one to install. Does anyone
have any ideas about how to trouble shoot this further. I am lost.

Sound less like a user permission issue and more like a netbios issue.
The browse list (My Network Places) is populated using browser elections
and netbios broadcasts. Not very reliable these days.

Have you tried having him add the printer by machine name explicitly?
i.e. printer HP is connected to machine HOST1. If you go into the add
printer wizard, you can choose to specify the printer and type in
\\host1\hp and see if he connects.

I can access a machine by name without problem. This is how I get around it.
He has problems with trying to use the add a printer wizard. I did not know
that about the browse list and will be looking into it and NetBIOS. In the
mean time does anyone have a good link for the information? I am answering
before starting my search but if any of you have a link that you have
actually found useful I would really appreciate it.
