move NT4 servers into AD domain

Craig

I have 2 servers in a seperate NT4 domain , PDC and BDC that I dont need to
keep as a seperate domain anymore. Can I just demote both of them to
member servers in the 2003(mixed level) AD domain?
Any know issues?

Can't demote NT Domain controllers.....you can however have NT member servers
in a mixed or a DFL 2K3 (Native) domain.

You can not - natively - demote WINNT 4.0 PDCs or BDCs. Well, you can...but
it is called fdisk and format! Probably not what you want to do. However,
it is probably what you are going to have to do....However, be aware that if
you do this you will loose all data that is on each of these servers.

However, there might be a utility that could be of assistance. Take a look
