We have 2 domains in a forest.

When I do nslookup from DomainA to resolve DomainB it fails saying
Non-Existent domain. and also shows my DCs Ip address

How do you have dns configured?  Are the domains in seperate forests?  Are
the domains siblings of one another?

The best way to resolve addesses for one another would probably be to have
secondary dns servers of each others dns services.

But w/o knowing more information about your layout it is hard to give you an
answer as to what is wrong.

In your IP Address configuration, you specify preffered and secondary DNS
entries. Use the secondary DNS entry to specify the DNS server of your 2nd
domain and vice versa.

Create a secondary server on your primary server for the opposite domain.

Follow the instructions in this link to setup your two secondary zones
