Hi all,

When a client computer joins a domain, is there any syncronization tool that
helps me to merge Local user which previously used and  the domain user's
files/programs/all settings etc?

what is the best practice?

thanks

Not really. You'd need to log on with a new domain user account and
after the first successful log on, copy the local user's profile over
the domain user profile (or merge them).

Probably a better ideea is to modify the ProfileImagePath registry key:

You can consider Prof Wiz from forensit
(http://www.forensit.com/domain-migration.html).  This tool does exactly
what you are looking for - migrating from workgroup profiles to domain
profiles.
