Way to set using Active Directory, which ports for remote desktop? Is there a way to set using Active Directory, which ports individual
computers should use for Remote Desktop? Or even a VNC software? Thanks Howdie!

You could look at CompConf\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services - I guess you need to use the default port for connections. VNC or other RDP-applications are special. If they are configurable with a Registry setting (where they store the port to connect in), you can create a custom ADM template and manage the port via Group Policy. cheers, Florian -- Microsoft MVP - Group Policy eMail: prename [at] frickelsoft [dot] net. blog: http://www.frickelsoft.net/blog. Maillist (german): http://frickelsoft.net/cms/index.php?page=mailingliste I don't think you have to set ports in Active Directory. You just have to
open port 389 in your router/firewall and then enable Remote Desktop on the server and remember to add the users that you want to use remote desktop to the Remote Desktop Users group in AD.
