Logon script changeI have a group policy that includes a logon script. I need to add another
mapped drive to my logon script which is a .BAT file. I attempted to locate and edit the appropriate .BAT file by doing the following in the Group Policy MMC: -->User Configuration -->Windows Settings -->Scripts (Logon/Logoff) -->DOUBLE-CLICK Logon -->in the Logon Properties, highlight the .BAT file (there is only one) and click the SHOW FILES button -->open the file in Notepad -->added the mapping However, the when users in the OU that this GPO applies to log on, they are not getting the new drive mapping. Only the old drive mappings are workng. Please help. Am I missing a step?

Would it be on a DC that the file changes have not replicated to yet? Remember when you are editing a GPO, it is normally the PDC Emulator. If the user's logon server is a different one and replication didn't complete, you won't see an update yet. -- Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights. When the file is stored in the GPO setting like you did, make sure the change is repicated to all DC's, "repadmin /syncall" or replmon from the run line(GUI). Also make sure the user has updated it's policy with "gpupdate /force" or on 2000 "secedit /refreshpolicy user_policy /enforce". By default the GPO refresh on client machines is 90 to 120 minutes.
