User authentication for RPC over HTTP - domain\username, username, username@domain

Hello,

I was wondering where you change the authentication rules for username and
password when using RPC over HTTPs.

I'm not sure what it is by default or where to change it but I'm pretty sure
you can make it force a domain\username,  just the username or
username@domain  but I have no idewa what is required to change the
authentication method.

Thanks

That's an IIS function. Be careful, since the ESM settings override IIS
settings, so look in the ESM first, and if not available, then go to IIS.
Either way, the settings need to be the same to work. This is not specific
to RPC/HTTPS, but rather an web service setting.

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express

to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
watched threads or subject.

In the ESM, Server/Protocols/HTTP virtual server properties, security
settings. Whatever you do there, should line up with what's in IIS, Default
website\Exchange properties.
