How to rename a Domain in SBE 2003

Hello,
during the installation process of a Windows Server 2003 SBE I have
misspelled the domain name. Is there a possibility to rename the domain name
without reinstalling the whole system?

I have seen domain rename tools for the 2003 Standard Server family but
nothing for the sbe edition.

Thanks

Hi

By default the SBS 2003 has the DFL at W2K native, and for you to rename the
DC you have to have the DFL at Windows 2003, i'm not sure what impact this
will have in SBS and related services. It would be better to place this post
in SBS newsgroup.

not only the DFL... the FFL must be w2k3

and it also depends what SP is loaded for e2k3 (at least sp1)....

but don't forget other apps, as those might also be impacted

Don't even try a domain rename on SBS 2003 no matter what the Exchange
Service pack. Exchange is running on the Domain Controller and won't result
in a satisfactory outcome.

Live with it, start over, or investigate a "swing migration".
