GPO Update won't updateI've setup a GPO in a Windows 2000 domain. There is only one account in the
particular OU, and I've setup the home page to goto a specific page. I just recently changed the page that it is going to, yet the change hasn't replicated to the machine. THe change was made a while ago, yet it's still going to the previous page. Is there something I'm missing or have missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. did you set the GPO under user or computer config....if computer you might
need to restart the computer for the policy to take effect. just a thought Show quoteHide quote "Chris C" wrote: > I've setup a GPO in a Windows 2000 domain. commands (dependent on OS): secedit /refreshpolicy user_policy /enforce (Win2k) gpupdate /force (WinXP) If this doesn't work you will need to troubleshoot. Start with the application event log - look for scecli and userenv errors and warnings. Also look at running GPRESULT and looking at %systemroot%\debug\usermode\userenv.log -- Paul Williams Microsoft MVP - Windows Server - Directory Services http://www.msresource.net | http://forums.msresource.net Thanks for the advice. I was able to fix the situation by removing the URL I
had setup as home, and unchecking the option. I then logged back onto the machine in question, and I had the default Windows home page. I then went back to the policy and I checked the check box for a default home page, and I entered in the correct url and when I tried it again on the machine it worked.
