I'm looking for a step by step process from beginning to end in converting
our NW server, workstations, etccc  to Ms platform.  We'd be going to server
2003 with AD.  At this point I'm not sure where to start the planning
process.  With tHe NW groups etcc I want to change them, meaning if I have a
group called SDD in NW I want it to be called Drafting in MS AD. However, the
login script says example if you are a member of SDD then map F: to
server\sdd\username.  do I have to make the changes on NW first before
converting?  What about security rights and passwords and users accounts
etc...  I've seen a conversion util but I don't think it will do what I need
it to do which is redo my infrastructure.

Assitance is needed please
Thanks
Jessie

This is a good place to start.

You will need to put some effort and thought into the process tho, since the
tools don't perform magic :)
