ADAM and replica linki have 2 different Windows 2003 AD domain (domain1 and domain2) in to different site (exemple NewYork , Los Angles) In the domainA i have 2 ADAM istance in replica and i would like install another 2 ADAM instance in domainB for replicate the same application partition in domainA. The question is : How i can to estimate a traffic between the 2 instace for choose which type of link buy (T1 or other) ? Thanks in advance. -- --- -- --- The traffic roughly equals the combined amount of writes occurring in both
instances. Only changes are replicated. E.g. if your data is fairly static, then there will be nothing to replicate. There's of course some overhead -- each instance needs to ask its replication partners "do you have anything new for me?". -- Show quoteHide quoteDmitri Gavrilov SDE, DS Admin eXperience This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Items which compress better will gain more
from this, of course. So, who knows how large it will be. :) -- Show quoteHide quoteEric Fleischman [MSFT] Microsoft Windows Server Division This post is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights "Dmitri Gavrilov [MSFT]" <dmit***@online.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:uPLQzBGRGHA.5908@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... > The traffic roughly equals the combined amount of writes occurring in both > instances.
