User Account LockoutI have a user that gets locked out frequently; he uses VPN and remote desktop
to access his PC here at the office. The lockouts are sporadic, I have checked the event viewer under security and it shows an event ID of 539. I am having trouble pinpointing the cause of the lockout. Our lockout policy is set to lock out after 5 failed attempts, and I am confident he is entering his username and password correctly because he is able to log onto the network, but once he is logged on and working he gets locked out. It doesn’t happen all the time, it is sporadic, it could happen 3 times in one day and then go for a couple weeks until it happens again. Any Ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
