DC hosted on Virtual Server 2005 Time Sync Problem

I have 2 DC (rootdomain.com and domain.com) hosted on a Virtual Server 2005.
The Host machine is a member server of the rootdomain.com Domain. My
rootdomain.com clock is 30 minutes behind the real time.

The issue is that this domain controller is getting the clock configuration
from the Host machine, on the other hand the host machine y getting it's
clock configuration from it's domain controller. It looks like a
Deadlock!!!!

How can I solve my problem? I've think about telling my Host machine to get
it's clock configuration from his Hardware clock, is this possible?

Any clues?
Thanks a lot!!

Beto.

Configure the forest root DC to synchronise with an external time source.
Here's a list of Internet-based servers:

for the DCs disable time sync with the host!

Time Synchronization Recommendations
For virtual machines that are configured as domain controllers, the Host
time synchronization feature of Virtual Machine Additions should always be
disabled. Instead, accept the default W32time domain hierarchy time
synchronization.

The Host time synchronization feature allows guest operating systems to
synchronize their system clocks with the system clock of the host operating
system. Because domain controllers have their own time synchronization
mechanism, Host time synchronization must be disabled on virtual machines
that are configured as domain controllers. If domain controllers synchronize
time from their own source and also synchronize time from the host, the
domain controller time can change frequently.

Use the Administration Website to disable Host time synchronization when the
virtual machine is turned off. You can disable Host time synchronization
during or after installing Virtual Machine Additions.

For information about how to use the Administration Website, see the
"Virtual Server 2005 Administrator's Guide" on the Web at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkID=27540.

the fun part is with VMware... which advises the other way around...

configure each DC to be able to provide time but not to sync with another DC
(parent or PDC). configure the guest DC on VMware to sync with the host
